History and Background

Code 3 Security is one of the region’s premier security firms; which secures the safety of thousands including; employees, tenants, diplomats, investors, and shareholders in a wide array of industry settings.  Clients currently utilize our services in a number of venues, ranging from apartment complexes to technological facilities.

Code 3 Security was founded in 2002, and incorporated in 2004.  The company is privately owned and has never utilized revenue from capital investments to achieve its position in the marketplace.  Code 3 Security is solely owned by Mr. Keith Lynn, who serves as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

Employees

Code 3 Security employs approximately 365 people, making the company one of the region’s largest privately held security firms.

With operations originating in Maryland, Code 3 Security now services two other states and the District of Columbia.  In addition to servicing security sites located in Maryland, operations have been undertaken in Virginia and Florida.  The company headquarters is based in Ellicot City, Maryland, with field offices positioned strategically throughout the company’s service area.
